The control employs a touch screen for easy operation.

The controller adopts an industrial-grade computer that employs a 32-bits floating-point DSP system.  It features flash and battery backup SRAM.  Superior to conventional PC-based controls, it can fully eliminate the machine going down or being damaged due to a poor environment, such as unstable voltage, high temperature, sawdust, etc.

Defect blowing system combined with computerized logic control allows the blowing time and the length of defect to be set as desired.  This feature provides efficient defect removal which avoids defects bumping against the saw blade, resulting in the machine going down or saw blade being damaged.

The computerized control provides fast and easy maintenance.

Feed is driven by a servomotor for fast and accurate motions up to 150 m/min.

Positioning of pressure rollers with electric elevation.

Infeed roller conveyor.

Tunnels at the entrance and exit of the machine for a maximum safety and thus making the machine in accordance with the regulations in force in Quebec, safety switch on cabinet door causing an immediate shutdown of the machine at opening and emergency stop button.

Cutting modes

• Fixed lengths
• Mixed lengths (10 sets of 10 lengths)
• Marking lines cutting: In addition of cutting defects on the fluorescent mark, this mode now includes a feature that allows cutting of long defect pieces in shorter pieces.  Mainly used when the timber is cracked, this new feature saves time because the operator doesn't have to sort the wood at the output of the machine.
• Marking lines cutting and fixed length: In addition of cutting fixed lengths between fluorescent marks, this cutting modes now includes two new features.  The first one adds a constant value of increase(B) to the fixed length(A), up to a maximum total length(C).  If the distance between two marks is A + (B x n) < C, the piece  will be equal to A + (B x n).  If the same distance is less than A + (B x 1), the piece will be equal to A.  The second feature reduces wood waste because it adds to the fixed length(A) part of the wood included between A and the fluorescent mark that would otherwise become waste.  An interval of length must first be determined.

The front cut is adjustable in all of the cutting modes.
