PRESS STRUCTURE

  • Fixed and movable platen supporting structure built in the OMC factory using FE430 welded steel beams.
  • Mobile platen and upper platen supporting structure, as well as the top and bottom main beams, machined by a high-precision CNC center.
  • Exclusive OMC “NO FLECTION STRUCTURE” technology:
    • Prevents flexion of the press structure, even under maximum thrust.
    • Ensures long-term reliability and durability of the press.

HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS

  • Manufactured by OMC using proprietary technology, backed by over 40 years of experience in building presses for various applications: wood, plastic, rubber, and composite materials.
  • Cylinders machined by a high-precision CNC center and equipped with an exclusive OMC bottom closing system.
  • Stress-relief treatment to eliminate metal stress caused by machining and welding operations.
  • Steel rods thickly chromed and then rectified, ensuring durability and precision.
  • Carefully assembled cylinders with constant monitoring of dimensional tolerances.
  • High-resistance gaskets ensuring long lifespan and a perfect seal.
  • Special flanges providing precise rod guidance, even at maximum extension.
  • Exclusive OMC cylinder assembly prevents potential mechanical stress on the cylinders during press operations.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

  • Double-stage pump:
    • High capacity / low pressure ? for fast and smooth platen closing.
    • Low capacity / high pressure ? for applying the programmed thrust to the panels.
  • Switch valve for quick transition between pump stages.
  • Pump and electric motor integrated into the oil tank, fully submerged in hydraulic oil:
    • Ensures optimal cooling.
    • Provides protection against dust and external agents.
  • Valves and other hydraulic components mounted on top of the oil tank as a single unit:
    • Positioned for easy access, facilitating quick and efficient maintenance operations.

STEEL SANDWICH PLATENS

  • Designed for cold pressing, mounted on fixed and movable platen support structures, machined by a high-precision CNC center.
  • Platen composition:
    • Bottom layer: thick steel sheet.
    • Middle layer: fiber panel.
    • Top cover: galvanized steel sheet.
  • Exclusive OMC technology:
    • Provides high vertical resistance (over 10 kg/cm²).
    • Ensures even pressure distribution across the platen area for superior gluing quality and surface finish of pressed products.
